I am away filming with the Grade 9's today.  Here are your assignments.

1. Have your butterfly and Poems published as a video from powerpoint.  Have them uploaded to youtube and embedded at your blog. Most of you had this done last class.  

2. Complete 2 day of coding codes.  This is the link https://code.org/learn.

3. In Google Drive or Power Point make one of these songs typographic or kinetic.  Time limit 1 week. Bonus Marks.  Add it to your kinetic typography post.  This is the link  http://www.songsforteaching.com/christmas/

Butter Fly 

To make a Kinetic Typography video you first choose something normal but you can make something amazing out of a normal sentence. First make 1 slide and do your normal typography in 1 slide, then break it up into how many parts you choose. Next the animations, when you do your animations make them appear first with cool looking effects. After put some effects to it and then your exit effects. After just repeat that process with the next set of words. Be sure to make your poem look exciting so no one gets bored, change the speed of some of your animations to make it cooler. Make sure to choose animations corresponding to the poem. When your done, make sure to include your whole poem after your animation slides.  Now the last step is to go to file, export, create video then upload it to Youtube.

Here are the instructions for your Kinetic Typography Assignment

First you have to have both your butterfly animation and poem animation at your Youtube channel.

Your post should have the following

Title #$%^&'s Kinetic Typography
Labels your name, Kinetic Typography

In the body you need to have the following

A picture that is about you poems
Butterfly Movie
Poem Movie

Your poem has to have the following

Title Slide This will have the name of the poet and the poem.
The next slide will be the poem through kinetic typography
Last slide is the entire poem on one slide.

Following the animations you need to write between 50 and 100 words on how to make a kinetic typography in Powerpoint.  

You will also be marked on the quality of your animations.  Are they helping explain the text better.
If you want bonus marks you need to do a second animation.

Now that you have seen the presentations please go to this website and choose 2 poems by Shel Silverstien.

The poems that you choose should have good imagery and things you understand.  You will not be using pictures for this assignment you will only be using words.

So for today here is what you have to do one more time.

1. Finish Bookmark presentation (4 bookmarks 1 presentation)
2. Create a new Google Slide and have it public and titled properly
3. Go to the Shel Silverstien website and find two poems
4. Cut and paste them into your new slide presentation
